phx zoo with a friend
A friend took us to the zoo and this time, unlike last year, the kids were able to play in the water section of the park. They had fun. Lots of kids!
Halloween dressup
Toms work has a big shin dig for Halloween and everyone brings their kids and there is lots of CANDY! Tom thought it would be awesome to wear my pink silt P.J.s as his dress up. He said he got lots of different responses. The tops was so tight that the seem was about to burst and the pants did a lot for his bottom:). Tommy was bubble bee and Morgan was ultimas prime and Case was a vending machine, which he made himself. He was also a clone trooper from Star wars. Didn't get a picture of that...I am OK with that... the candy vending machine suites him much better:) If anyone knows his sweet tooth they would agree. I was ummm... nothing. :) I know...boring...that's OK...wait..at our ward part I put on some wings, thing kind with real feathers.
Halloween Fun
We had some fun with yummies as my kids call them. Mine were the only ones that looked like owls, those are the ones we gave our neighbors...couldn't have them hanging around because then I would just have to eat them. Can't have that now:)

San Jose
This ride we were able to ride as a family. I always liked riding with Tommy because he would hang onto me with a death grip.
San Jose
Case was able to ride 85% of the rides. In this picture we were waiting to ride the water raft. It was fun.
San Jose
Tommy even got in his nap while we were waiting for Tom and Case to ride the big rollercoaster. Morgan was sad because he was not big enough but got over it quick and had fun climbing the tree we were sitting by.
This was one of those rides that goes up and down really fast. I just remembered that I purposely put Tommy and Morgan in matching shirts so that they would be easier to spot in the mass of people. Every one was saying .... o look at those twins... we would just smile and let them think they were, unless they asked that is. Also I just remembered that we got to the theme park as it opened and left as it was shutting down. I never would of thought that we would of lasted that long. We rented the stroller and had one of our own. Doing this really made a difference.!!!
San Jose
The boys being lovers of cars loved this too much. Tommy was sad that he was not big enough to reach the peddles.
San Jose
In addition to visiting the beach and a family from Tom's mission we went to a local theme park. On this ride Tommy screamed in unison to the movement of the ride. It was so funny. I really enjoyed his enjoyment and was surprised he was big enough to get on.
San Jose Beach
So, when Case got home from his fathers house we decided to take a last minute vacation to Tom's mission, San Jose, California. We went to the beach one of the days we were there and had a good time. We just had to do the typical picture. Tommy did not know what to think of the weight of the dirt. Morgan was the most apprehensive one to be buried in the sand. While we were at the beach we were privileged to see dolphins. Tom tried to swim out to the them while I stood at the shore line nervous. Tommy did not like the cold, moving, salty water. Morgan and Case loved getting wet. We all wore tones of sunscreen, unlike last time we went to the beach as a family and all were fried chickens and passed out at the hotel due to sun exhaustion.
We also say one of the families Tom was privileged to teach and baptize on his mission, the Parham family. I have never felt so welcome in someones home before. These people are wonderful. We surprised them at church and then spent a few hours at their home after church. I really felt like one of their kin. I am so glad that we were able to visit them. Tom has desired for this for some time.

Finicum-Rogers gathering
It was beautiful!!! I miss the 90 degree weather. There was tons of horse shoes being played and games in the horse trailer. Not everyone was able to make it but we had fun with those who were able to come. I look forward to visiting this place again. Danielle has a dog now and Tommy was always trying to kiss it. Challice is about 6 months preg. and starting to get a small belly. The only shoes Case had was a broken pair of flip flops. The horse trailer wall looks brown but in talking with LaVoy I learned that it was blood from a crazy cow. The talent show was awesome. We actually did something. Tom and I sang our new song "Luck" by Jason Mraz. and then we did a silly beach boys routine behind a blanket with the boys. Ari, Kevin, Tean, and Danielle did a Brian Reagan spoof. (Funny) Tell held a broom on the palm of his hand, Mitch acted like a chicken, LaVoy showed his awesome dog training skills, Tommy ran, Morgan tried to sing, and Case did a magic trick. One of our cousins did a song in sign language.
