Bug found on spring break
Morgan brought me a bug he had found out side in what looked like an old tuna can. I couldn't help but think of Tom. He would do this all the time growing up. In his photo albums there are so many pictures of Tom with his little critters that he had found and brought to Kitty. So I HAD to take a picture.
Case wanted to ride by himself but grandpa said he is a little you young still, better safe than sorry. I was able to herd some cows with LaVoy, Danielle, and Tean. It brought me back to my high school days, although my body didn't handle it as well as it use to. On the way back from herding the cows we trotted most of the way and I felt like I was going to be rubbed raw and have a permanent bruised tail bone. I made it through and wasn't sore much.
Horse pictures from spring break
Morgan was a little more apprehensive but enjoyed himself. Tean was nice to lead them while I took pictures.

It was nice to have some sister time with Danielle and Tean. They both are growing up, it's not fair. Tean is maturing into a young woman figure. o-my and Danielle is almost done with high school. She has decided to home school again and become a cowboy for pay for mom and LaVoy. She is super excited about the money. Danielle is always the boys favorite. I hope no one is hurt by this, Tean has mentioned how the boys always say, "Danielle, Danielle." She is just so good with the boys. Super patient, super fun, and imaginative. She has always been this way. I hope to some day have these wonderful qualities. Tean is an independent, passionate, righteous thinker. This is our future needs. I really enjoyed just being around them. Challice was there too but at work allot of the time. She and Spencer are moving into the little white house. I looked at her and said, "your kidding?" and then said, "I feel sorry for you." That is not what she wanted to hear, I'm sure. But I understand how she deeply desires to have her own space. It can't be that bad without kids. She has this whole plan of fixing it up, paint and such. I told her I would drive down to help her if she would let me know in advance. I look forward to this time with her. With our powers combined and a little insecticide, rat killer, and prayer, we can turn that place into livable space.
Emergency Room
After I left my dads house I drove to my moms new house in Canebeds, AZ. We got there around 6 p.m.. Around 8 p.m. Case slit his head open on the gate that closes the stairs off. Blood, screaming, the whole bit. I keep telling Danielle to get some candy to put in his mouth to quiet him up. So off the St. George emergency room we went. It is about an hour drive one way. We could of gone to Kanab but the doctor there really has a bad reputation. Case ended up betting 3 staples in his head. It looks all greasy because of the ointment. Your really can't see the staples but I tried. LaVoy came with me for the drive. It was nice to talk with him. He is so packed full of knowledge. I miss our long conversations while I was living at home. He is a good man.
Spring break
So for spring break I took the kids on a road trip rather than staying home and having them bounce off the walls and me trying not to go crazy. Tom had to stay home to earn the money. We were sad he had to stay back but we enjoyed ourselves. First I drove clear to Roy, Utah. This is where my father lives. It was a good 11 hour drive. I only got pulled over once and was let off with a verbal warning. It must of been my day. I really am not a speeder. I got to my dads house around 2 a.m. and ended up pounding on the door to wake them up. I felt so bad, but I really did not want to sleep in the car with the kids. Dad misunderstood me when I had called him a few weeks before to tell him that I was coming and thought that it was going to be in April, so when Cindi, his wife, came to the door, it was a surprise. We got settled in and went to sleep. I stayed there for 3 nights. It was nice for the boys to be able to spend some time with their grandpa. They trashed the place of course, that is their specialty. It was cold outside so staying inside most of the time was what we did. The kids were able to watch cool cartoons that they never get to see at our house because we don't do T.V.. They were super entertained with just that. Dad made shepherds pie, I loved it but the kids hated it because the food is mixed. He also made me his famous egg in a cup and has me hocked. I showed Tom when I got home. It is much more healthy way to cook over easy eggs. o-well. I got to see Becky, my dads sister, she seems happy. The first picture is of Tommy and my dad. This is a special picture because Tommy is named after my dad. The fifth picture Case was taking it and I told him not to cut our heads off. He took the picture very seriously and showed us laughing. I then he did it right. His little personality is starting to becoming funny. When we were leaving dad always shows his soft spot and got emotional. It was a good visit even though the kids stressed my dad out. I kind of expected that since he really has not dealt with full time kids for about 20 years. What else can you expect. I think our visits will be better when the boys are a little older.

I make the kids lunch and eat with them then clean up. After doing all that the kids are STILL eating. So I end up finding my way to my office to do some school work while they are finishing up. This particular day I was wondering what was taking Tommy so long to come join me in the office and make a mess of the room, as he usually, while I frantically try to focus on my school work. So I went to find what kind of mischief he was in and this is what I found. So cute, he fell asleep. Got to love him.
My shoes :)
Typically it is the kids walking around in dads shoes looking like a clown...Not this Sunday...the boys thought it would be fun to walk around in moms hot heels. I couldn't help but get a picture.
